South African Lottery Participant Lands Unclaimed Lotto Plus1 First Division Prize

During a Saturday night draw held in September 2026 a single participant secured the Lotto Plus1 first division prize worth R4,351,816.30 yet the ticket remains unclaimed as of the latest updates from lottery officials and that situation leaves the funds available for collection once verification completes.

Officials at the National Lottery confirmed the win came from the standard Lotto Plus1 game and they listed the complete set of winning numbers alongside results from the main Lotto draw and the Lotto 5 Max game so participants could cross-check their entries without delay.

Winning Numbers Released for Multiple Games

The Lotto Plus1 first division draw produced these six numbers in order 07 15 22 31 38 45 with the bonus ball listed as 12 and anyone holding a matching ticket can review the full sequence on the official verification page to confirm eligibility before presenting it for payout.

Alongside that result the main Lotto game released its own sequence of 03 09 17 28 41 49 plus bonus 05 while Lotto 5 Max delivered 04 11 19 27 33 for its five-number combination and these details appeared together in the post-draw report so players could examine every game at once.

Those numbers emerged from the official ball-drawing machine under standard supervision and lottery staff recorded the exact sequence immediately after the draw concluded so the published figures match the machine output without variation.

Process for Ticket Verification and Prize Claims

Players who purchased tickets for the Saturday draw should compare their selections against the published numbers and anyone who matches all six in Lotto Plus1 must contact the National Lottery directly or visit an authorized claim center to begin the verification steps because the prize amount exceeds standard retail payout limits.

The official National Lottery website serves as the primary resource for confirming results and participants can enter their ticket details there to see an instant match report while the site also lists claim deadlines and required identification documents so the process moves forward smoothly once initiated.

Because the winner has not yet stepped forward observers note that the funds stay secured in the prize pool and the unclaimed status triggers standard procedures that include additional public notices in newspapers and on broadcast media to encourage the holder to come forward within the allotted timeframe.

Background on the Draw and Participation

The Saturday night event formed part of the regular weekly schedule that runs throughout 2026 and the Lotto Plus1 game continues to attract entries from across South Africa with each draw generating fresh sequences that determine first division payouts based on ticket sales volume and rollover rules.

Data from the National Lottery shows that first division wins occur at predictable intervals though individual prize sizes fluctuate and the R4,351,816.30 figure reflects both the number of entries and the absence of a prior rollover into this particular draw and that combination produced a single winner rather than a shared jackpot.

Participants who bought tickets through retail outlets or online channels receive the same validation process and the unclaimed prize does not affect future draws because the system isolates each event so the next Saturday sequence begins independently with its own prize pool calculation.

Next Steps for Players and Officials

Anyone who suspects a match should retain the physical ticket in a secure location and avoid alterations because the claim process requires the original document along with proof of identity and address so the verification team can complete its checks before releasing funds.

Officials continue to monitor the claim window and they will issue further updates through the same channels used for the initial announcement if the prize stays unclaimed beyond the first few weeks and that approach keeps all participants informed without speculation about the ticket holder's identity.

Conclusion

The R4,351,816.30 Lotto Plus1 win stands as a documented outcome from the September 2026 Saturday draw and the published numbers for Lotto Lotto Plus1 and Lotto 5 Max remain available for cross-reference on the official verification site until the claim period ends so every ticket holder retains the opportunity to confirm a match and proceed with the formal payout steps when ready.
